Adria Pina Alegre

Spanish painter Adria Pina Alegre’s large bold paintings of hands covered in paint or splashing with water are bright, dynamic and striking. Born in 1959 in Valencia, Spain and has exhibited in New York, London, Seoul, Barcelona and Madrid. His compositions are graphic and geometrical with devotion to detailed recreation of the subject matter and a nod to pop art. Recognition of his work has been reflected through numerous national and international prizes and it can be seen in various private and public collections, such as The Chase Manhattan Bank of New York, the Center for Contemporary Art À cent mètres du center du monde of Perpignan and  the MEAM of Barcelona.
