Overview
Peter Hoshl was born in Namibia in 1967, he now lives and works in Cape Town. He is a self-taught artist. He studied Drama in South Africa in 1990 and this is where his artist career began; producing pet portraits to supplement his income. From 1994 he worked in digital imaging and visual effects in Vienna and Cape Town.He has been awarded two awards, the UKCPS Annual Open International Exhibition in 2014 where he was highly commended, and he won the UKCPS Faber Castell Award and Picture of the Year in 2008. He has been in a number of group shows including ones in London, Cape Town and Ipswich.
